Allowed Summer Burning Times for Quinta Viewpoint Allotments are as set out below.

Please do bear in mind that there are houses very nearby, and only burn material on the days set out. Green material, such as weeds will smoke while burning, and is not allowed. Please burn only garden waste from the allotment (including wood or cardboard).

Be mindful also, of wind direction while you are burning. Please be considerate, and don’t burn on days when the wind is blowing towards the houses adjoining our allotment site !

Lastly, ensure that fires have been properly extinguished, with plenty of water. On dry summer days, fires could easily reignite themselves, so please exercise caution and your best discretion.
